To Market, To Market

[Continued from previous post.]  I stopped on the way back to my lodgings and found a manicure place on the park. I got back to my room after 8:00 PM or 20:00 as they say here. I then went to a restaurant named Zaza, number 2 on TripAdvisor. The waitress, who turned out to be the owner, didn't even know about it. By the end of the meal we were great friends and she insisted on buying me a drink. We drank Hennesy together.
By the way the dinner was excellent. I had oysters yet again and rosemary scallops and shrimp on mashed potatoes with cauliflower foam. Didn't get home until almost 1:00 AM.
I did not get up really early as I used to do. Took a shower, dressed, made some coffee and scrambled eggs just like I like them. I couldn't get myself out until at least 10:30. I am now on the canal boat. I am now off at a large cafe in the sun. It seems that everyone in Amsterdam is taking advantage of the sun today. I am overlooking a canal outside of city hall.
