Here In Amsterdam

So, in the last few cities, just when I get really comfortable, it's time to leave. I particularly liked Nice and Paris and now I love Amsterdam. Here I booked myself into a B&B. I had trepidations about going to a B&B but the place is truly wonderful. It is on a park, run by a gay couple who renovated the basement level, (you have a window which is below street level and you can see people's legs go by).
There is use of a kitchen, a dining room and a parlor. Other guests are arriving tonight but I have been alone until now. The place is so tastefully decorated it is a pleasure to sit in the dining room for breakfast. I have received nothing but hospitality since I arrived. I was met the first night by customers of my B&B. They took me out to dinner and insisted on treating me. He works near my neighborhood teaching music. We went to a restaurant recommended by my B&B host.
Yesterday I went to a large marketplace near my B&B, the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum. I particularly liked the Van Gogh. I then walked, got lost at another park, someone helped me find my location on my map and I continued onward towards a Canal Bus on-and-off tour. I decided to look for a bite to eat. The weather was and still is great.
I ended up at a cafe in the sun next to two young people from Amsterdam. One was a pretty black young woman working at MTV. Turns out she was adopted and was born in Haiti. She has a cousin living in Israel. Her friend is an ex boyfriend (she now likes women) who does websites, travels a lot and they were both fun. I ended up sitting with them talking for the next three hours. They insisted on treating me.
