I walked around Siena, saw Piazza del Campo, saw sunbathers enjoying the first sun of spring, had a delicious lunch and actually saw a Synagogue here. I saw a sign and followed it. From the outside it is not even recognizable as a place of worship but the inside was exquisite and full of light with a dome ceiling.
Took the bus back to Florence and met Sharon's youngest grandchild and went out to dinner with Stefano while she and Mauro babysat. We went to the restaurant of Sharon and her ex. That was also great.
When I returned late I freaked because my iPad seemed to have died.
The good news is it is now working. Today is beauty parlor day. In the morning I had a wonderful medical type manicure, went to the Apple store and was overjoyed when I saw the Apple light up, went to lunch with Stefano and than got my hair colored, streaked and cut.
Stefano unfortunately is now officially under the weather with a cold and I am about to sit down with Sharon and Mauro for scallop risotto and salad. Then I pack and I am off for my last three weeks of my trip. I go to Nice tomorrow.
