It poured in Rome. I did end up in the Ghetto after seeing my next door neighbors from when I first lived on Houston. I took a bus from my neighborhood and met Daniela who picked me up near Largo Argentina. She left me off there later and I strolled around. She suggested I walk to the Ghetto. I was not really hungry but I did stop and have Carciofo alla Giudia and Saltimbocca alla Romana. Luckily it has stopped pouring. Now I must pay and navigate my way to my little street near the central station after taking bus #40. Hope I find my place easily. It is more like a pensione and I need to open the front door myself. I do have a flashlight so hopefully I can manage it. It has been dark for hours and earlier it was pouring to hard to bother with photos.
Last night in Florence last minute rain gear
Was really in Rome for about 20 hours
Rained from 2:00PM on but had a respite on the way home
Found my hotel but didn't sleep well
Waiting for transport to airport.
